Lorry Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

• Securing heavy loads and large goods for transport in a safe manner.
• Assisting and supervising the loading and unloading of deliveries into the lorry.
• Updating vehicle logbooks and keeping track of deliveries.
• Making certain that vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy.
• Following company safety regulations and obeying traffic laws.
• Inspecting and cleaning the vehicle.
• Reporting any accidents or delays.

• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Versatile and flexible
• Driving license: Car and truck (>5T)
• Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus.
• Good communication skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Punctual and responsible
• Can work extended hours
